  41.     Your modem haven't a problem...
  42.     When you receive a connect/14400/none message, it means your 
  43. modem do a connection whithout compression and error correction.
  44.     Error corrections and conpressions protocols, are established 
  45. between modems, if the line is poor, the modems cancels compression and 
  46. so, error connection.
  47.     Revise your configurations set, if everything is OK, try slowest 
  48. velocities.
  49.     Here in Brazil, I have a 28k8 USR and for bests connections, I 
  50. must to set my modem to connect at 19.900 bps, otherwise I have several 
  51. disconnections between 1 to 15 minutes.
